Our story

For more than a century we are synonymous with good Palermo cuisine

Salvatore Salvatore Catanese decided to specialize in this gastronomic sector by opening a restaurant in 1890, in the place where it still is. And the family tradition has never stopped in all these years..

After Salvatore the restaurant was managed by his son Antonino Pietro who was succeeded by the founder’s grandson, also Salvatore, and today the owners are the founder’s grandchildren Ada, Gaetano and his wife Marisa.
